choosing the projects site...

dear Students, you have the possibility of choosing between three sites:

you have the possibility of choosing between three sites.   Each group has to analyze each particular site and deliver a set of A4 (landscape) documentation in architectural diagrams and drawings on following topics:

1. Draw the site plan out of google maps in scale 1/500. Estimate the topology. Precizion is not a requirement. Delivery of a DWG drawing and a rhino 3d model.
2. Analysis of the surrounding buildings, in terms of building heights and facades, architectural styles.
3. Analysis of the functions in public and private space, day and night...summer-winter... what is there? what is missing...
4. Analysis of the movements and streams... cars, pedestrians, day- night, summer-winter.
5. Historical review, with maps and history of the area in the past.

The analysis will be presented on the 11th of November, 1400h, room 301. You can pick out a site and a theme to analyze tomorrow (subscribe in a relevant list) .

Each site can have a maximum of 8-9 people.
